Mark Coleman retires from MMA

Today, Mark "The Hammer" Coleman announced his retirement on Facebook. He's having a hip replacement next Monday and he says he's done fighting. Even though Mark Coleman hasn't fought since his loss to Randy Couture on February 6 2010 at UFC 109, we didn't really know if he was even fighting again. But now we have our answer.
Total Hip replacement next Monday. Ouch.
The hammer is done fighting. I know been done. Just looking for some prayers.
I thank everyone who will help me get through this. Have to pay to play sometimes. Only regret is could have worked harder.
Love you all live your dream.

Mark Coleman started fighting in the UFC about 20 years ago and he was the UFC 10 and UFC 11 tournament champion. He was the first Ultimate Fighting Championship Heavyweight Champion and the Pride Fighting Championships 2000 Open Weight Grand Prix Champion. He also was one of the first fighters to be inducted into the UFC's Hall of Fame in 2008.
