Former PRIDE middleweight champion Wanderlei Silva (34-12-1 MMA, 4-7 UFC) returns to Japan to face former WEC light heavyweight champ Brian Stann (12-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) in a five-round, 205-pound affair.
UFC on Fuel 8 takes place in the morning in Japan, and airs on Fuel in the United States on March 2. It will be the UFC's second event in the same arena of the Pride Fighting Championships. The fight will be five-round light heavyweight bout. Stann has lost two of his past three fights at middleweight, so he desperately needs a win against Silva.
