Ronda Rousey has harsh words for Fallon Fox

Ultimate Fighting Championship Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey commented on transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox.

UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey spoke to the New York Post about transgender fighter Fallon Fox and about the comments that Matt Mitrion made earlier this week.

She can try hormones, chop her pecker off, but it's still the same bone structure a man has," Rousey told The Post. "It's an advantage. I don't think it's fair.

I understand the UFC doesn't want to be associated with views like Mitrione's. I'm also glad they didn't straight cut him.

Rousey also told the New York Post that she fought hermaphrodites in Judo and that she had no problems with that because that was something they didn't choose, and Fallon Fox choose to change gender so it's slightly different with her.

It's not something that happened to her. It was a decision she made. She should be aware in her career after that, it's going to be an arduous path. I don't know why she's surprised by that. It's going to draw a lot of emotions. What if she became UFC champion and we had a transgender women's champion?" Rousey said. It's a very socially difficult situation.

Right now, Rousey would prefer not to fight Fallon Fox, but she will if the UFC asks her to. Who do you guys think will win that fight?

Cain Velasquez on Fallon Fox: She shouldn't fight other women

cain velasquez picture

The last few weeks, Fallon Fox started to appear in the news. She became a national story a few weeks ago after she said she was born a man and underwent gender surgery. Now, everybody has been talking about her, even UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has his own opinion about her.

A lot of people including UFC ringside announcer Joe Rogan and UFC bantamweight contender Miesha Tate have giving their opinion on Fallon Fox fighting women and they really opposed the idea. You can see Joe Rogan's opinion here and via the same link you can see that nobody else then Hulk Hogan is willing to fight Fallon Fox.

UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez talks about Fallon Fox:

I don't think she should be able to fight women. Having the same bone structure and everything else as a man, I think definitely does give her an advantage. Maybe have a separate [division], I guess. I don't know. But I don't think that's fair.

Fallon Fox already has her next fight scheduled against Allana Jones on May 24, 2013 at Championships Fighting Alliance in Florida. However, Jones' trainer Glen Bailey told MMA Junkie they're waiting to sign the contract. But Fox's manager isn't worried, if she declines the fight, CFA will find another opponent for Fox:

They're not going to have a problem finding an opponent. Somebody wants to be the one who beats Fallon Fox. And they'll see it as an opportunity to make more money. If Allana Jones doesn't fight, so what? Someone else will.

Hulk Hogan willing to fight Fallon Fox

Hulk Hogan has talked about the the recent controversy around Mixed Martial Arts fighter Fallon Fox, who came out as a transgender earlier this month.

While the UFC is not liking the idea of letting Fallon Fox fight in the Octagon anytime soon, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan says the MMA transgender fighter is welcome in his ring any day... even if the idea confuses him a little. (Watch the video below)

The wrestler, actor and TV personality told TMZ he'd be willing to fight Fox.

"I'll whip her...I mean, I'll whip him," Hogan said. "I'll whip her...I'm confused."

Fallon Fox’s next fight was set for April 20, 2013 at CFA 10. However her license is currently under investigation through Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation after she came out as transgender.

Among others who told their opinion about Fallon Fox is Joe Rogan, but he was not to keen on the idea of letting Fallon Fox fight women:

"She calls herself a woman but... I tend to disagree. And, uh, she, um... she used to be a man but now she has had, she's a transgender which is (the) official term that means you've gone through it, right? And she wants to be able to fight women in MMA. I say no fucking way. I say if you had a dick at one point in time, you also have all the bone structure that comes with having a dick. You have bigger hands, you have bigger shoulder joints. You're a fucking man. That's a man, OK? You can't have... that's... I don't care if you don't have a dick any more...
