tito ortiz twitter picture Tito Ortiz won the vacant belt by Unanimous Decision against Wanderlei Silva at UFC 25 on April 14, 2000 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. After he became champ, he succesfully defended his title against Yuki Kondo, Evan Tanner, Elvis Sinosic, Vladimir Matyushenko and Ken Shamrock. He then lost the title against Randy Couture at UFC 44 on September 26, 2003, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.

On the other hand is Jones, who won the title in a TKO victory against Mauricio Rua at UFC 128 on March 19, 2011, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. He defends the belt 5 consecutive times against, Quinton Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort and Chael Sonnen. This ties him with Ortiz, Jones said he wants to break his record and then fight UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva in a super fight.

Tito Ortiz wants catchweight bout between Cyborg and Ronda Rousey

Tito Ortiz (Cyborg's manager) is looking for a catchweight fight between Cris "Cyborg" Santos and UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey at December 31, 2013.

Tito Ortiz talked with Fight Hub TV and Tito was able to share his big plans for a fight between Cris "Cyborg" Santos and Ronda Rousey at catchweight on New Year's Eve:

Cris has shown in Strikeforce, why she's so dominant, why women are afraid of her. She has three fights with Invicta, she will be the world champion and she will walk away a world champion. Like I said, New Year's Eve, let's make a super fight. Forget the title. Champion vs. champion, who cares about the title? Fans want to see a fight and as a manager, I want to make sure that this fight happens and that's why we didn't sign with anybody else, with any competition against the UFC. I want to work with UFC and I want to give fighters the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage in the world as I fought for 15 years. I was excited for the reaction for women fighting and women's fighting is here to stay and it isn't going anywhere.
