UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones says Chael Sonnen is going to get clowned at their main event bout on April 27, 2013.

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been getting along quite well with Chael Sonnen TUF reality show. But then Sonnen came alone with his poem, directed to Jon Jones, making fun of things that happened recently to Jones.

That didn't sit well with Jones, who tweeted this on his official Twitter account last night:

Jones will put his 205-pound title on the line against Sonnen as part of the UFC 159 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which goes down April 27, 2013 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones

Dana White has talked about bringing the UFC to Madison Square Garden for the 20th anniversary show in November, and if that happens, the city could land a dream fight for MMA fans worldwide.

Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones fighting against eachother, how good would that look on a UFC PPV card? But for now Jones is already booked to fight against Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 later this year in New Jersey and even after that fight he still has contenders in Lyoto Machida and Alexander Gustafsson, if Gustafsson performs well in his upcoming bout.

Anderson Silva has to get past Middleweight contender Chris Weidman at UFC 162 this July in Las Vegas. And Weidman isn't planning on losing against Silva. Dana White talked to Chris Weidman:
"I talked to Chris Weidman myself, and he looked me right in the eye and said, 'I'm telling you, I apologize that I'm going to f**k up your super fights and be your next champion. But what I will do for you is I'll give him an immediate rematch in Madison Square Garden as soon as he loses."

GSP fought injured against Nick Diaz

Just a few days after UFC 158, Firas Zahabi revealed Georges St-Pierre was not 100% when he fought Nick Diaz for the UFC Welterweight title which took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on March 16, 2013.

After the UFC 158 title fight, Nick Diaz and Cesar Gracie were making excuses all over the place for his performance against Georges St-Pierre when they fought last saturday. Georges St-Pierre won a unanimous decision over Nick Diaz scoring 50-45 on all the judges' cards. You can watch the video highlight here. A few days later, after the event, it came out that George St-Pierre did all that to Nick Diaz while being sick and injured.

GSP's trainer Firas Zahabi told TVA Sports:

"Fortunately, there were no tears. That said, it was very tense and very painful, but not enough to cancel the fight. We wanted to keep it a secret since Diaz is an expert submissions ankles.

"Our concern was that the tendon tears during combat. For the moment, we do not know if he aggravated his injury, but it certainly will undergo treatment in the coming weeks for the tendon can heal properly. "

In addition to being hurt, St-Pierre was feverish during the fight against Diaz.

"It is physically and mentally exhausted. I think he will need at least six months of rest before returning to the Octagon."

Georges St-Pierre will need to take the next 6 months off, so the wish for Johny Hendricks to fight in August will most likely not happen

Chael Sonnen takes a swing at Jon Jones (with a poem)

chael sonnen picture

UFC Light Heavyweight fighter Chael Sonnen did what he does best, taking a swing at current Champion Jon Jones ahead of their UFC 159 title fight on April 27, 2013.

"I got a call one day from Dana, he said 'Chael, I'm putting you to work.'
'You see, I overpaid for this light heavy, who I now realize is a jerk.'
'He's been winning fights, but not with brains or with brawn.
And his matches and his one-armed cartwheels are making the whole crowd yawn.'
'I mean, nobody's coming to see him in living rooms or in bars.'
'Why don't you send this guy to Cirque de Soleil, or Dancing with the Stars.'
He handed me his wallet, his ATM card and pin number too.
He said, 'Chael, whatever's in the account, take it, it's all for you.'
I thought for a moment and I said, 'I'll tell ya' what, Uncle D.'
'For you and the fans, this one's on me.'
So I went and did some homework, I got some tapes of his fights.
I suggest you all give them a try, if you're having trouble sleeping at night.
They tell me he's good, but I know that can't be true,
I saw him get armbarred by Vitor and he's 52!
He's so boring he made Machida fall asleep.
The snoozefest he had against Rashad, or beating up on Bonnar, who's older than God?
Look, here's the truth, believe me it is.
Don't even mention Ryan Bader, he lost to Tito Ortizz! (sic)
Jon, I'm coming to New Jersey, because I've got a job to do.
I'm a fully-loaded cannon, boy, and I'm pointed right at you.
A little advice, go get in your car and hit another tree.
Do whatever you gotta do to stay away Jon, you don't want to fight me."

We still need to wait 1 month for the scheduled title fight between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen and while fans were taken off guard by Sonnen's respect towards Jon Jones, Sonnen couldn't keep his mouth shut for too long, as on Tuesday's (March 19, 2013) edition of "UFC Tonight" on FUEL TV, Sonnen took multiple shots at Jones as you can see in the video below.

The California State Athletic Commission confirms confirms that UFC heavyweight Lavar Johnson has been flagged for elevated levels of testosterone.

A post-fight drug test for UFC heavyweight Lavar Johnson , who lost a unanimous decision to Brendan Schaub at UFC 157, has been flagged for elevated levels of testosterone. With the recent cut of Matthew Riddle, Lavar Johnson could be in "big" trouble.

MMA Junkie has more info:

A post-fight drug test for UFC heavyweight Lavar Johnson (17-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who lost a unanimous decision to Brendan Schaub (9-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at UFC 157, has been flagged for elevated levels of testosterone. An additional carbon isotope ratio test "confirmed the testosterone was consistent with the administration of a steroid," according to CSAC Executive Officer Andy Foster.

Foster clarified that the initial failure was not due to an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) level, but could not provide further details on Johnson's failure at the time of this writing.

All other drug tests from the Anaheim, CA PPV came back clean. More info on Lavar Johnson later..
